Shower Stalls
How can shower
stalls provide more worth and comfort to your home? And why a
shower instead of bath tubs? Let me enumerate some of the
reasons behind this preference.
First, they are less spacious. They provide more room to
maneuver in the bathroom itself. It is very good if you have a
small bathroom.
Second, it is more convenient to use than a bath tub. Since most
of us are in a hurry nowadays, we prefer taking a shower than a
long wait for water to fill the tub.
You don’t need an engineer to set up a shower stall. They are
usually multi-sided, large sized enclosures. You can have them
custom-made to your preference, like triangular, pentagonal and
hexagonal. You can design your own so that you are actually
incorporating your personality in your work.
While the shower stall is expanding, you can actually add more
components of accessories in it, as well. For example, you may
install a shower enclosure with a bathtub integrated in your
bathroom. You may also consider a steam shower, by introducing a
steam source overhead. However, be cautious of the steam shower
since it is impermeable to water when enclosed. A Jacuzzi set by
the bathtub wall may also be an option.
Don't forget about the accessories such as showerheads, which
come in different designs. There is a standard ‘out of the wall’
showerhead, an overhead (built in the ceiling) showerhead, a
sidebar (slender bars running down the shower stall sides)
showerhead, and even sliding (allows you to change the position of
the showerhead to any vertical position depending on the height of
the user) showerheads.
If you want your bathroom to have a bit of elegance, you can
always have a modern shower with exquisite colors and a part of
etched glass.
Always remember that there are certain areas that you have to
check if you want to install a shower stall or remodel your
bathroom. For instance, your water drainage and water supply system
should be checked first if you want to remodel your floor area.
Check for what is needed or what needs to be added and arranged for
that. If you want to install a new shower system, you have to
design the hot and cold water supply and drainage lines for that.
Make sure that your bathtub is enclosed. Make sure that there is
proper ventilation in a steam shower. If you want a shower stall
with a door, make for extra heating arrangements.
So if you want a more comfortable and more charming bathroom,
then go crazy remodeling and installing a new shower.
